Partnering with POD: In July, we teamed up with the POD Network’s GPPD SIG to deliver a national workshop series empowering future faculty to brand their teaching excellence.
New Publication: Our chapter, “Teaching Excellence Plus,” is now live in Documenting Teaching Excellence: Promoting the University’s Vital Mission, an open-access book from the Empower Teaching Open Access Series in partnership with Utah State University’s Center for Empowering Teaching Excellence.
Savion Fellowship Winners: We’ve been awarded Indiana University and FACET’s prestigious Leah Savion Fellowship to fund our SoTL study of the BYTE framework’s efficacy in supporting promotion-bound faculty.
IU Workshop Series: Indiana University’s Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty and Academic Affairs has invited BYTE to lead a campus-wide workshop series for two cohorts (Fall 2025 & Spring 2026) for promotion-bound NTT faculty.
Conference Appearances: We’ve presented BYTE material and led hands-on workshops at IUB’s Center of Excellence for Women & Technology (2024), at McMaster University’s Innovations in Education Conference (2025), and the Conference on College Composition and Communication (upcoming in March 2026).
